Fabric estimation and accurate calculations for rod pocket spacing for standard fold and waterfall/cascade folds.

Learn about suitable hardware; fabric covered batten, chain mechanism and motorised systems.

How to fit hardware & dress in a Roman blind.

If you can travel to us, we highly recommend training face to face at Victoria Hammond Academy, where you will recieve individual tuition and guidance in a small group.
A deposit payment is required to secure your place on a course.
Balance payment is due to be settled at least
14 days prior to each course start date.
Option in ‘Your Account’ to make Part Payments towards the balance.
All course fees are inclusive of specialist products and materials, designer fabrics and a comprehensive step-by-step manual. We provide refreshments throughout the day.

On completion of this course students will be awarded an Accredited Certificate.

ONSITE Making of Roman Blinds
Through discussion, demonstration and making of a sample, this course provides students with the skills to make a professional Roman blind with confidence. The course is suitable for absolute beginners as well as those wishing to enhance their current skills – no hand sewing or sewing machine experience is required.

Please note this is the same Roman blind programme as ‘Course ONE Professional Curtain Making & Soft Furnishings’. If you would like to attend Course ONE as well you only need to attend Day 1, 2, 3 & 4 to be awarded the Accredited Certificate. The fee is equivelent to 4 days tution, that is £760.
